Seven trappers sue state for non resident trapping. Two from MN, 1 from pensylvania, iowa, wisconson, missouri, indiana. The current law of not allowing non resident to trap unless they own land here and then only on land they own conflicts with the 14th amendment of the federal constitution.

In the lawsuit, the plaintiffs claim that the Minnesota law is an unlawful restriction of interstate commerce, that the law denies them the privileges and immunities of citizens of the United States and that the law denies them equal protection of the law.

I have made a donation myself and hope this doesn't take too much time.

For anyone else who would like to make a donation here is the address.

A thirty day extention has been given to the state to respond.
