Is anybody shooting any ducks around the Duluth area? I've been up to the Canosia WMA, just poking around, and heard some shooting out in the slough, but didn't see any ducks. I try to split my time between bow hunting and grouse hunting, just wondering if it's worth getting in a couple of mornings on the water.

i have been here for 4 years and tried it once. from what i hear the ducks fly early here and after the first 2 weeks are pretty much gone. not sure if its true but i hunted rice lake and except for 1 flock of geese that left the water at dawn never saw a single duck. had the lake to ourselves and it was a perfect misting day. id say its worth a shot, maybe you will have better luck than me.
my wife said it.... im OFFICIALLY ADDICTED to MNO!!
