Hey, great pictures Wildlife.  I was sorry to read about your motor fire.  Hopefully not too much damage was done.  I caught a nice 25' this weekend.  Too big to keep and not big enough for a Leech lake fillet knife. :bonk:

Went up and fished the Red River north of Selkirk,MB last weekend.  THis has been on my bucket list for a long time as I grew up and learned to fish on the Red in GrandForks.  Had a great trip..but didnt catch the 15+lber I had dreamed of.  DDS's ATI jigs were the hot ticket on the Greenbacks...vertically jigged with livies (canuk for live minnows) vs salties...  Only problem was that they would inhale DDS's jigs.

Note the sarcomas on the fish lots of them have them...what you are eating if you eat walleye in restaurants here in the states.

So are sarcomas good for us? I guess that would be an "off topic" but I have to ask.

Yep, just slice em off and fry them in  butter.  Release the fish to grow more.  No limit on how many you can take home either.  :rotflmao:
