Propane has a lot of moisture in it. That moisture is rising with the heat and condensing on your roof. It's funny you dont get gassed running a sunflower in a tight house like that. I use them only with good breathable canvas. They really arent safe for anything else.

not to mention the water that evaporates when the snow on the floor melts, rising to create a steamy situation.
vents are your only hope. on my 6x8 I leave the zipper open a bit to keep the air fresh as possible and still stay warm.
take a kid hunting and fishing!!

I used to use a sunflower and now a heater that I make. I still have moisture build up but not as bad as with the sunflower.

Another plus after getting rid of the sunflower is noise. My homemade one makes no more noise than a gas range burner.

One more reason to get rid of the sunflower they are oxygen pigs. A person might not even realize how low the oxygen level is getting while useing one.

Well I'll tell ya how low. Back when I used to use one in the spearhouse(breathable canvass) I used to tell it was time to open the door for fresh air when my cigarette would no longer burn. Now looking back I can't believe how stupid I really was.

Anyone here use a Little Buddy heater? I have a Clam 5600 and I am wonder if it throws off enough heat to warm the entire house.
