Lots of rain this week, and the cold front sends fish deep. Fishing still steady, anglers and charters are headed deep over Bridges, Knight and Garden Island reefs and mud in 25-33 feet of water. Anchoring and jigging with a frozen shiner still working. Some using bottom bouncers and spinners with bright colors such as pink or chartreuse on dark days. Mornings and evenings drifting over sand/gravel at Pine Island or Zippel Bay with a live minnow, leech, or crawler in 6-14 feet catching lots of eaters.

Lots of limits caught on the NW Angle this week. Walleye and smallmouth bass are staying shallow over sand near islands. Drifting with a jig in 16-25 feet of water producing the best bite.
