Hey Fella's, long time no talk but I'm still around just busy. I'm heading north for a fishing trip with the guys and wondering if anyone has insight on Big Lake north of Ely just off the Echo Trail . I got info from guys who will be there with me but any other insight would be helpful, after all, I have to get some fish up on the board!! ;D  :woot:

Well, I got back last night and after being there for a short stint, I did pretty well. Got a report from an employee of Great Outdoors and also from a resort employee. Caught lots of walleye but no biggin's to speak of. Lots of eaters though, caught fish anywhere from 6" to 15", most on crawlers and leeches also. Trolling in the mornings and trolling and jigging in the evenings. Had a few libations through out the trip to celebrate a buddies bday. Lots of beautiful camping spots on the lake. Had the most unexpected illness from something way outta left field. I was having problems with my gas line holding prime and was squeezing it and all of the sudden the bulb blew :doah: a 2" hole and gas shot all over my arm, shoulder face and I have no idea how much got in my mouth but I swallowed some. Within an hour and a half I was dizzy as hell and then started  :puke:. Once that ended about a half hour passed and everything was okay...had a little headache but the weekend ended great. Got some good picks of a wolf pup on the side of the road on the way home. Good times, good fishing and many good memories. :toast:
