Good fishing again this week at The Walleye Capital of the World.  Trolling crankbaits in "no man's land" out in the deep mud, 34',  still producing.  Anglers starting to transition over to live bait more.  Crawler harnesses and jigging with minnows kicking in.  Spots to check out, 26' in front of Zippel and Morris Point.  30' in front of Lighthouse Gap and numerous reefs near Long Point.

Up at the NW Angle.  On the MN side, good walleye fishing continues north of Garden Island around Little Oak Island and Oak Island.  Check out both reefs and deeper mud off of reefs.  Pulling crawler harnesses, pink and/or gold blades has been successful.  In Ontario waters, Skeet Island has been the go to area.  Jig and minnow in a bright color.

Muskies are active.  Groups catching and releasing many fish up to 52".  A lot of fish in the 40's.  Twitch baits that can be stopped and suspend doing well.  Spinners also pulling some fish.  Rock points, saddles and scattered red cabbage key.  50% of fish coming on figure 8.  For more info, www.lakeofthewoodsmn.com.
