Wisconsin brothers lose trucks in Lake Winnebago

3/31/14

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (AP) — Two Wisconsin brothers lost their trucks in Lake Winnebago after the vehicles broke through thinning ice.

 :coffee: .......
The Reporter Media reports (http://fondul.ac/1dLHhCr ) Robert Lobajeski's truck went through the ice first on Sunday.

Lobajeski says they'd been riding motorcycles and he drove onto the ice to pick up cones. His truck was partially submerged with its plow and rear bumper above the water.

Then Lobajeski's brother, Brett Lobajeski, tried to tow the truck out. His tires also went through the ice. The front end sank under the water when crews tried to pull it out.

The trucks weren't far off recommended driving paths, but temperatures in the 50s had softened the ice.

Both men escaped safely from their trucks. But Brett Lobajeski says he doesn't expect his to run again.

 :sorry: Boys.
