Timberwolves Griffin suspended
Eddie Griffin Suspended


January 12, 2007

The NBA announced Friday that Eddie Griffin of the Minnesota Timberwolves has been suspended for five games without pay for violating the terms of the NBA/NBPA Anti-Drug Program. Griffin’s suspension will begin tonight when the Minnesota Timberwolves play the Memphis Grizzlies at FedExForum.

I don't think he did anything more than go to a bar or club to deserve this.  With his past if he actually took anything this would have been a much bigger deal.  None of this really matters though since EG never gets off the bench anymore.
