where do you prefer to shop for your firearms?

my last I got through a trade on-line with a guy in michigan.. little nerve racking but it worked out.. had to use a FFL here to make it all legal like.

another was through armslist..

where do you like? my personal favorite is Joes bait, they just know what they're talking about and there is no bull with em. talked to a kid at gander the other day and I wouldn't buy a tissue from him let alone trust him on something as important as a gun.

Got my last one at Bills gun shop and range.  I had been trying to find this particular gun for quite a while.  They were the only ones that had one.  During the purchase a person called asking if they had the gun I was buying and the clerk said I just sold it and I don't have any more.   :whistling:

I got my last 2 guns from Mills Indoor Shooting And Archery. One was Bushmaster and the other a Huldra. Bought the Huldra upper then lower with Bushmaster in between.  Talk to Dohn to  get the best info.

The last 2 I got from and old army general....  :whistling:

Funny you should mention gander... I took a savage 22 rifle (with the octagon barrel) to them for repair. The "gun smith" said I had 2 different models put together to make one gun...and could not be fixed.....  :rotflmao:

Talk about your  :moon: from a hole in the ground....

brad the gunsmiths at gander are pure beginners.. the guy at joes is the one to talk too.. he's been very helpful over the years.. if he says it can't be fixed then I'ld beleive him

Joes Sporting goods.... sales and repair people in firearms are as good as youll find in a retail store..... the guys at Reeds in Walker are good folks...... Ahlmans gun shop in Morristown is another place I would go to again..... Cabelas, Gander, FF are all in the same boat really, you never know who/what your dealing with day to day/hour to hour at them places .....I dunno.... guitars & guns: I like to see/play/hold(drool?!?) before I buy if at all possible.... dealing with a human face to face, even if they are a wet behind the ears kid is the way to go for me personally..... plus, I usually know what I want and most of the time know more about the products than 99% of the guys behind the counter.... its good to be in the know so you dont get the wool pulled over your eyes..... :happy1:

My son just purchased an FNP 45 tactical online.  Guntrader was the auction site.  There were no bids yet so he contacted the dealer and made an offer.  The dealer took the auction down.  We shot it last weekend.  Flawless transaction.
