My father got a surplus tag but I must have been seconds late.  All the tags were gone in our area in less than a minute.

Out scouti g today and setting a test bait. Guesse i know thier in the area ones a biggie forsure.

We got another picture of a bear last week.  He was visiting our huge raspberry patches.  Will put out a few test baits in front of a cam or 2 this weekend.

Dad wants to try popcorn with sugar poured over it.  Whats your thoughts?

So what's the difference between a test bait and a real bait station.??

Thats good for a treat or a positioning bait for a shot but as a staple bait to keep the on a pile, no. I like granola, trial mixes oats in grease doughts nut in grease, sunflowers in grease. dog food. as staples. proteins are a must to keep baer on a pile, beef triminings once you get a bear to come in regularly, and late season, just gota keep the frozen. I have 55 gal. drum of carmel topping to pick up to day with trail mix and just gona mix it together in a coffee can for a suplimental treat.
 Geen a test bait is totaly legal anytime of the ear but you when you register ur station you have to me 100 yards away from the test bait. i do it  see whats moving thru and dont rely on it. the few times ive don it in my rivervottom i gotton a cinno on cam and have never seen him while legal baiting or hunting so it dont mean much other than, theres a bear.

Yupper, I got the carmel home without a prob. stuff is crazy. its literally a drum full of carmel topping, I wann just dunk my head in it. lol.
