Went out of JR's on friday, he has the best bridge I have seen to cross the pressure ridge.  We went to the end of his road and set up.  All the walleye that we had on, came off the hook at the bottom of the ice.  There is a lot of lake that can be fished out of his access, I would expect the bite will pick up there soon.  JR is willing to point you in the right direction.  Saturday we met "Cookie" at the convienence store in Waskish.  He told us the area we should try for crappie and walleye.  Within minutes my son had his first ever slab caught on Red Lake ice.  We ended catching our limit of walleye and nine crappie.  Thanks alot Cookie for your advice, you're always on top of the current bite.  Hope to get up there again soon.

Who knows some day I may put one of my houses in a spot like that? Way to go Ben I thought I saw your truck way out there all by it self. I also told the guys in the cabin and they landed on the mother load 31 slabs. Of course they would not tell me where they were? They must be planning on coming back up here? thats twice this year I have sent someone to a unfished area only have them not share the spot with me? What ever happen to sharing?

Harry sents me the cords for the spot him and Ben fished? Since I do not own a gps maybe I should share these cords with the public?I guess I will have to think about this one. If I do not see any houses out in that area tomorrow maybe I will post them at the end of the week?Big fish guy get ahold of me and I will gladly point you in the right direction.

Cookie - The spot that dad and I were at was interesting.  Catching crappies and walleyes together was odd.  We ended up with about 15 walleyes.  It took all day to find 4 of them that were under 17inches.  I'm not sure if we were by ruff ice or not.  I drilled a couple dozen holes around the area and I had 2 holes where the water was just as stained and dark as coffee?  The rest of the holes water was nice and clear?  Hopefully you saw us.  We were fishing in a Otter Green fish house with a yellow sled with the pickup being right behind it.  It was awesome catching those big slabs through the ice :o.  Thanks for pointing us in the right direction.  It was nice seeing you again.  Mopad.

Well today is friday so here we go.As far as I know there are still no houses in this spot, but there are a few houses in that direction? please do not impose on any other fishermen,I was out there once and there was plenty of room. You will have to do some detective work and drill plenty of holes. make sure you have a extention as theres a good possibility you will need it and should see the reason when your out there.N48 09 888 W94 38 669 again the fish are all over so you do not have to be right on the spot any where in the area ,punch enough holes and fish hard.

You can fish 10 feet from that spot and still be legal ;D Thanks Cookie for putting the cords out.  I hope you put them out on a lot of other sites to.  This should draw the swarm in that direction, and we'll have the rest of the lake to ourselves. ;D

If you don't have any luck there you can just change the coordinates by a few degrees and set up at WW.  You are luck might not be as good but you probably won't care.
I fish not because I regard fishing as being so terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant - and not nearly as much fun.? Robert Traver "Anatomy of a Fisherman"

Heres the scoop .Stu fired his gps up as we headed out this morning. Its seems someone may of saw me out there last week as they are right there. I took Wild Bill and his crew to the west 1/2 mile and directed them to stay clear of anY other houses?lets just say there is plenty of room to the west and southwest of those cords with many many fish to be caught
