    • Fishing & Hunting South Dakota's Lake Oahe and Lake Sharpe
I am doing a quick update to let everyone know that I will be off the water for probably around the next week or two because of getting in a car accident. The fishing on Oahe is in the full summer mode with most boats getting limits up and down the lake. Very nice fish in the 17 to 18 inch walleye avg. range and also good smallmouth fishing. Most of the fish are being caught shallow in 10 fow or less on both minnow crawler combo's along with pulling plugs, Sharpe is still going around the west Bend area but leaning towards Oahe is not a bad choice as limits size wise are better on the big lake. As soon as I can I will get back and update my report on more frequent rate but will try to post any big changes.
