Here are the rules as written in the dnr book

"The following materials may not be used as baits for bear.
• A carcass from a mammal containing more than 25 percent of the intact carcass.
• Meat from mammals that contains bones.
• Bone of mammals"

I have a few beaver carcasses that are in the freezer. I've been removing the castor glands and using them to stink the site up. Could i chop the carcasses into quarters and use them?  Its mammal and has bones but is less than a quarter of a carcass

I sent in the question.

I've already removed the backstraps and rear legs and ate them myself.  It seems like a waste to just through the rest in the garbage. My labs would love to eat the carcasses but they got really bad farts from the fat scrapings last winter. WIFE WAS PISSED AT CHRISTMAS DINNER WHEN LUCY DROPPED A ROOM CLEARING BOMB.
