 what a handy tool. i say we put this on the fishing page as a sticky for others to check out when ever they need it.

watching those demonstrations and tying them while watching, would make it easy to learn them.
take a kid hunting and fishing!!

In my favs now too.  I luv to sit down with the kids and practice knots. someday I won't have to tye there hooks for them but until then Its still neat to be big daddy hook tyier.  This will help them greatly....Thanks for posting it!

I use the polamar knot for most fishing applications.  And I've never had one fail yet!  Just remember if you're using Monofiloment to wet the line where the knot is made before you tighten it completely.  That way it won't stress the line.  ;)

Very cool ! I added it as well to my favs.. I like the loop knots for ice fishing as it doesnt impede the movement of the jig..
If you say or react to something when frustrated or angry it will inevitably end in distaster !!

Bumped into this page from the Illinois Chicago Bears fan.  Great knot tying tips.  I use the Trylene know most of the time and the Palomar knot is easy too.
