Ok ladies and gentlemen I'd like to get this section lit up again ;).  Everyone likes to eat and I'm always looking for new ways to cook.  So With warmer weather right around the corner what is everyone using to grill or smoke with?  My smoking career started about 2 years ago with the purchase of my pellet grill below.  I have done some things that have turned out excellent and a couple that I need to go back to the drawing board.  Here is mine let's see yours. :happy1:

My Traeger is over at my buddys house  ;)...man is he good at making ribs with that thing.. Id get one but I know Id never make ribs as good as his!  We had them last saturday night on the last ice fishing trip of the year! :happy1: :happy1: :happy1:

Here are some of my earlier achievements, The roast was put on smoke for 6 hours, then finished in the crock pot. That make the most incrediable grave from the juices you cn imagine.

Oh that reminds me.  I owe HD and Fawk an apology.  Boar gave me some of those to try with those 2.  However my wife found them in the freezer and made them 2 days ago.  I am truely sorry however they were good and I enjoyed them :happy1:

Sorry,no pics of my Bradley,just the results,I'll be doin 4 racks of snowgoose jerky this weekend,another 30lbs went to the butcher for summer sausage,about the only way to eat the darn things...lol.

PS~ I've smoked for years with weber grills/charcoal,hard to beat appplewood smoked ribs.pork shoulders over charcoal,but for fish,poultry and sausage I give the nod to my electric smoker,the great thing is its all digital,just set it and forget it deal,no charcoal or propane residue or messin with running out of fuel.

smoked goose is awesome!!!!!!!!! not sure if theres really a difference between Canadians and snows but my wife has a great goose reciepe.

takes a while to cook up. consists of a lot of fresh veggies, cooking the goose and wild rice. oh and cocktails!!!!!!!

snow goose is the least fav for table fare,only exception was when I had a home made dinner while hunting in sask,we shot mainly greater snows and were grain fed and we were hungry after a day in the field, unlike the lesser that summer in the Hudson bay area,alkali water all summer and brakish salt water from hangin out around the gulf area all winter.Corn fed canadas are good when properly roasted or smoked,specs are the best but you'll never see them in Minn unless they are lost.

But some guyz like the gamey taste of certain waterfowl...I know guyz that hang their diver ducks for days before cleaning'em...ishta.

never had snow goose, I use to goose hunt long time ago, wasnt a fan of the meat so i kinda gota way from it. fall migration still calls to me tho. it says glenn...... put forth some effort.. no not really, still miss the feild. Ducks, are very tasty, wraped in bacon on the grill, for sure! never had snow goose, but have had some brined C gose and smoked, that was awsome..
