say i noticed on ur website, that with the canadian bqcon, you had thermometers stuck in the end. of the loin, do you use ur smomer temp probe to? and take an average or trust the thermometer

Ya I still have the old fashion meat thermometer and I leave it in the whole time.  I put it dead center in the end so I can get accurate reading.  i do trust the termometer, it hasn't let me down yet but I'm thinking about getting a digital thermometer but I will still leave it in the whole time.  good luck.

RH a digital instant read thermometer is a must have,Get one you wont be sorry !So many uses!

  still use the 2 old ones I have their not useless!!! For some breads and candies and many other cooking specialities the instant read is a must! Once I tried it on meat I was hooked!! The c.Ya know the one thatandy thermometer isn't replaced yet,Ya know the one that reads soft ball, hard ball temps I sure wish I had a instant read for that!!

a guy should be able to to stick a digital thermometer probe andkeep it inserted the whole time in amaster built right. im intrested i  seeing how.accurate the masterbuilt one is compared to the old fashion.

I don't have one of those but it should work just fine.  This way you don't have to open the door all the time to see the internal temp.  good luck.
