Saturday evening I had these three deer pass under my stand.
Fawn, followed by momma and then a teenager maybe last years fawn.
They are about 24 feet from the tree I was in.  Nice view.  The big one
was lucky I wasn't looking for a doe because it would have been hard
to miss this shot.

Fawn leading the way.

Then momma and she was big.

Last in line was a small doe, not a fawn.

Nice pictures Deadeye.  Is that the stand I helped you fix?

Yes, it's the stand in the "cut" on Buck Ridge. I finally got around to going in it last Saturday. I saw the does and fawn above as well as two fairly decent bucks.  Both bucks gave me ample time and targets but they were young deer so they are still out there. Good luck to them come gun season.

No, I wouldn't say there is a lot of hunting pressure, I just meant that they needed to smarten up a bit.  Not everyone would just watch them.
