2 people died on Lake Geneva today shanty fell right through the ice while they were fishing. This is the lake I guide on in south east Wisconsin during open water season.
I believe they were in a 2 man flip over.

Any more details Lee?  This is a real confused-3316.gif  for me. Too warm? Not enough ice? Current area? Sad news, however it happened.

Ya it does. Was afraid it was even closer. There's a Lake Geneva south of here so until I saw it was Lee's post, was.wondering if the perch were biting there.. Sad deal any way you slice it.

I thought the same thing as there is one just west of us about 20 miles and like you I seen where I went wrong.  like you said, still way too sad.
a bad day of fishing is still better than a good day at work!!
