May 3rd, 2017 story on channel 5. I felt compelled to send well wishes to Mike Peluso and family. I grew up playing hockey and one of Mike's brothers lives there and he coached us some and was always around the rink. We watched him play every chance we had. We got autographs and enjoyed talking to him. He certainly knew there were risks but also like most of us trusted in his doctors. Boxers with gloves on don't fight 2 days later after a knock out. Mike Peluso is not the type to want his name in the news or like he's trying to cash a quick check. That is not the deal here. Mike Peluso is a tough iron range guy who tells the truth, period. The Tony Twist fight should've been the last game he played. He should never have been cleared. Now to why I had to post this. I read some lawyer report about how Mike is trying to cash in or these seizures likely brought on by drinking or his meds not being taken. Please read that in the report. Mike Peluso is of high high character. I'm sure this all is about the last thing he wants to do. Some need to be held very accountable. And this lawyer guy or whatever for you to accuse someone of some of the things you claim .... You are the $ sucking bloodsucker in this whole deal. I understand were kinda numb to the word concussion by now and I know we assume all these pro athletes are loaded $ wise and knew the risks. He was told you're cleared. What would a 6'4" 220 pound guy from the iron range do ? Charge right back out there and prove yourself again. What went on with Derek Boogaard, Rick Rypien, Wade Belak among others. It's time the league steps up for their health and care. This whole topic is my opinions alone. That was a very difficult story to watch. I'm not sure how you can respond to this but remember what Mike said "Nothing Nothing Nothing is more important then your health.
