graduation question

so i have a granddaughter who will graduate from a vo-tech school. the ceremony is this friday. with all this taking tech classes while in high school going on she is graduating from tech school before getting a high school diploma. i think this is absurd and weird..........odd.

i dont have issues with attending the high school commencement but whats your guys thoughts/opinions on having to go to the vo-tch commencement.???????????

Same as the HS commencement, to me. She worked at and put in type at that, just like HS. Shouldn't be any different....speaking from experience. I had all my credits when I was a senior, so I did not have to attend any required classes in the afternoon. Took a new program they just started, went all afternoon to Vo-tech and got my diploma in Communications technology. I saw it as an accomplishment.....maybe not get a gift or whatever for that one, maybe a small gift certificate, but at least attend it. That's what they'll remember.

she worked hard for her graduation, you need to support any way you can.  sh sounds like some one who will do good in this world!!  and those folks are getting fewer I think!!  Reb said it very well I say.  in other words this is a no brainer.

well i guess her high school grad party is at my house and i will be more then likely footing the dam bill for it too!!!!
