Bet the finches and the robins are surprised by the snow this morning.  We got about an inch here in Andover.  Friends of ours tell us some loons have arrived on their lake just south of Duluth also [my favorite bird next to the bald eagle].  good luck.

Hiya, Glenn boy!!  :cheesy:

Funny, Robins thru most of the winter, and now I haven't seen one Since February! Lotsa the red-belly 'peckers, and my neighbor has a nest with two Cooper's hawks in it. Boy, they sure are noisy. Thought they were sharp-shinned hawks, but was able to identify them thru their call...definitely Coopers'. Bad thing is, their main diet is songbirds...saw one nail a Cardinal in mid-flight on Sunday, sat on a limb and tore it to pieces, eating it all... :puke:  Between their continual calls, and the 'peckers kwirring, add the CAWCAWCAW of the crows, and it's gettin' pretty noisy over here in the morning.
