we made the rounds this morning. everything still has ice except anything that has directly to do with the river. things are looking pretty cheesy though...swiss cheesy that is. black ice every where that you could see water in.
low winds and no rain is letting it hang on this long. pokegama is a week out at the outside. the river landing by potlatch on co rd 63 is wide open. that would be my go to.
i would have to say south of hill city  will be open any day.
some of the small potholes will be open tomorrow or weds at the latest.
it won't be long fella's!!

just wondering because we are coming up to pick up the house from soderbloom's this weekend and then bringing it over to remer, wanted to get the boats out and at least back them down intot the water and fire up the engines.  I am bringing mine back to do some river fishing, but you can bet i'll be on pokegama in a few weeks....   got my favorite  sunny and crappie bay all figured out.  I am going to fly fish for them this year... try something different.
