You too glenn an bore>>My connections to the net have been totally cut off for 4 days now frontier wont communicate but the sub contracter installing new pads and ports informed me this will be the norm till spring when frontier runs fiboroptic lines in the stuff their buildingI still run at dial up speed and at times faster speed like now,.so I thought Id inform you before speed drops!! When I try to log in its always a timeout!! then its a blank to start over GGGGRRR!

Never had Gravlax, Barry?? O yum!!! On crackers with dill sauce, for me.....

Gravlax (gravad lax) is a Nordic dish consisting of raw salmon, cured in salt, sugar, and dill. Gravlax is usually served as an appetizer, sliced thinly and accompanied by hovmästarsås (literally maitre d'hôtel sauce, also known in Sweden as gravlaxsås and in Denmark as rævesovs, literally fox sauce), a dill and mustard sauce, either on bread, or with boiled potatoes.

my step dad gave me salmon to smoke and turned out really good. just need to buy some. yea its dang spendy.

Gravlax and Lox have been americanized in the USA, Both were never smoked, just salt/sugar cured.With mine after cured. One with salt/sugar (LOX) and one with salt/sugar/juniper berries/sumac berries or seeds (Gravlax)
 First of germanic jewish food stuff (LOX) translated in german is salmon, ans second of norse foodstuff Norway,sweeden,finnish origions. I did cold smoke at 50 degrees for 2 hours just for added flavor and to make the fish taste more mellow.
 Got the salmon from LPS so its only fitting he gets to taste some, Man Not braggin but the store stuff for 12 -
 20 bucks for 4 ounces tastes like bunk!

I can remember when I moved here to Diamond Lake Cub had dog salmon (Chum Salmon) for 2 bucks per fish and the weighted in at 5-6 lbs. each!!
 Had lots a friends out fro salmon many ways!!
