Funny thread,up until the last couple months I haven't watched gunsmoke since....well let's just say many years,most shows are still really good and gotta say festus made the show even better,weaver was a suck ass (chester)

With that said gunsmoke,the rifleman,wanted dead or alive and many more older shows had alot of gun shooter and bad guy killing's,never had issues with kids shootin up schools and such back then like we see today,parents need to be parents these days not just friends to these children.I see more broken families these days like never before,single mom's have a full plate teaching these youngens as they grow up.

I even liked Burt Reynolds better as Matt's sidekick. Festus was da man. Meanwhile, back at the ranch...watchin' Gunsmoke over lunch. Celebrating the last ewe lambing when I fed bottle lambs. Had a fried egg sammich w/Swiss and side order of katchup! Ate it quick so Glenn didn't smell it and stop on his way by to Red Wing!  :happy1:

Now I gotta check out High Chaparral. Dad was a die hard Gunsmoke & Bonanza guy so I didn't get to see a lot of that one. Might've been past my bedtime too. Linda Evans was HOT back in the day on The Big Valley. Haven't seen any Rawhide reruns in a while either. Hopefully glenn comes down off his katchup induced high today so he can follow along... :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
