4 cycle oil
Whats everybody using in there 4 cycle outboards? I have Yamaha in mine right now. I haven't changed it yet. Was thinking of changing. I've heard a lot about Amsoil. I must not have used it enough last year, I pulled the dip stick and it still looks like new.

Use the right "weight".
The brand really isn't that important. Kinda like your car. Mills Fleet bargan bin oil will work as good as Valvoline as long as you change it at the required time.

If I a choice I would use Amsoil.  Changed over this last year in the Auger and a few other things up at the cabin and they perform 100% better.  Yea it's more spendy but it takes care of you longer.
