5-16-2020 - BWCA Fire ban update... :campfire:

 :drillsergeant: ....
The Forest Service has lifted the fire ban for campfires per their most recent announcement effective May 18.

Please be aware this can change based on conditions. And be careful with fire as nothing will shut down camping faster than a wildfire.

Safety and Responsibility Reminders :tut:

▪ Please don't travel to the BWCA area if you are sick!

▪ Please wear a mask and use hand sanitizer or frequently wash your hands during your travels to and around the BWCA. This helps to avoid catching and spreading the virus.  :super smiley:

▪ Please wear your life jacket and be safe on the water and in camp. An organized search and rescue effort risks other peoples health.

▪ Be careful with fire, saws, and axes.
