And that will make this whole QB shuffle even more interesting.  I could see Russell Wilson going there.

 Not so sure Payton won't give Winston & Hill a good look 1st. Wilson is getting big $ & would cause some major cap issues for them IMO.

I see where they said Winston signed another 1 year deal with the Saints yday. It was reported that it could be for as much as $12 mil with incentives but only $5.5 mil is guaranteed.  It also said that he'll get a shot to win the starting job.

  • Twins fan.
For a little short guy Brees had quite the career. Coming out of Purdue I don't think anybody thought he would do so well.

For the Vikings... In 2005 Dante Cullpepper was in his 6th season and got hurt giving way to Brad Johnson.

When Brees became available for 2006, the Vikes apparently didn't need him.   :doah:

New Orleans got Drew Brees in 2006 until now!  ::welcome:: :woot: :dancinred: :cheerleader:  :USA:

That list was only starters.  Sloter never started.

And to complete the list of teams we care about here.  These are the starting QBs since 2006 for the Green Bay Pikers and 'Da Bears.

Packers

Brett Favre
Aaron Rodgers
(In 13 seasons, Rodgers missed 18 games.  His backups were Matt Flyn, Scott Tolzien, Seneca Wallace, and Brett Hundley)

Da Bears

Rex Grossman
Brian Griese,
Kyle Orton,
Rex Grossman (again),
Jay Cutler
(In 8 seasons Cutler missed 26 games.  His backups were Todd Collins, Caleb Hanie, Josh McCown, Jason Campbell, Jimmy Clausen, Matt Barkley, and Brian Hoyer.)
Mitchell Trubisky
(In 4 1/2 seasons Mitch missed 14 games.  Is backups/replacements were Mike Glennon, Chase Daniel, and Nick Foles.)

Ya I know.  It was kind of a joke.  People were talking about him non stop on other sports sites.  I do like him and hope he makes it in Las Vegas.
