Another monster outof lake "calhoun" this time a 54'er,looking at the picture it looks like a leech lake strain not the typical "hybrid" or tiger stocked in the lake,congrats to the young die hard fisherman

seen it on the news, he was in a canoe and paddled to shore to land it...  she looked half dead and they didn't say if it was released...
a bad day of fishing is still better than a good day at work!!

Agreed,fish was spent...lake calhoun has some deep holes 80' in one area,I'm told it has trophy walleyes as well.,pretty sure the lake has consumption warning's but loaded with nice fish.

Lake harriet is another big time muskie/walleye lake few folks talk about.
