Be sure to make your picks for qualifying by Thursday at 10pm PST.  Otherwise it will use the same drivers you had selected for last week.  Then after Friday you select your drivers for the race.

Me and little Spinach both had a good race today, all of our drivers finished in the top 45 and 3 of our drivers were top 15. We both had differnt drivers too.

Just a friendly reminder.  I typically make my picks for qualifiers on Wednesday night.  Then make my final picks either Fri. night or Sat. This way I don't forget to make the picks.  And remember-you can only pick the same driver 9x throughout the season!  The rules are all posted on the yahoo racing league site.

Looks like we have some friendly competition picking up. Thanks again Woody for creating this league. Its much more fun than some other fantasy leagues i have been in where the other people in your league won't even answer your emails or posts to the league bulletin board. You da man Woody.

Thanks guys (and gals) I was hoping to find others with the love of NASCAR like I have.  Sure there will always be those who say "Nascar-go round and round in circles for 500 miles-big deal"  Well, try doing that within inches of the next car going nearly 200 mph!    (Put me in a car-I'll give it whirl!)   8)

I've said it before and I'll say it again, my #1 concern was to make this FUN!  Too many times I've seen it turn ugly because someone doesn't like a certain driver-and it sets a bad tone for the rest of the season.  I'm pretty sure we all have drivers we don't like-that's cool!  But I'd prefer to keep this positive.  Positive = fun!  I get enough drama in my day to day life!  :(

All I know is I felt lost this past weekend without a race being on.  I started to watch the Busch race-but once I seen J.P. Montoya take the lead-I had a feeling it was all over for everyone else.  So I went and did other things.  (I NEVER do that during a cup race). 

Vegas should be interesting with all the changes they made since last year!

Only 2 Toyotas in the top 35 in points right now...Dale Jarrett and Brian Vickers.

Who will be forced to qualify on speed come race 6 of the season that has been enjoying the Top 35 guaranteed rule thus far? How many Toyotas will be in the top 35 by race 6? What Big name drivers will be on the outside looking in? Will the EARNHARDT NATION demand a new Dale Jr clause for qualifying day if he is out of the top 35 come race #6?
