i havent fished opener in years.....i avoid amateur weekend!!!!!!!

Hot summer day at any public launch with a cooler of cold beverage's is a great past time,amazing how many trailers are afraid of water... Been years fishing opener,sodak walleyes open year around,back in my mille lacs days we would launch after the crazy crowds around 10am,no lines easy peasy.

Dutchy,what's the word on your trike....yah or nah? bet it's sweet.

Trike is in the garage. Trying to decide if I put snow tires on or wait. After the trailer ride home in the rain & slop it needs a good bath. Maybe later this week.

Once the cougars realize I'm broke they will be a non-issue. With diesel over $5 a gallon it will become my grocery getter i'm afraid.

Yup, it's back up to full (as a matter of fact, I'm raising the dock right now)

I'm going to grab my casting net and take a couple pulls. I'm hopeful that all my fish didn't die.

'Da opener came and went and I paid no attention to it.  Way to much stuff to catch up on around the yard after one of the crappiest springs in recent memory.

Agreed steve-o,been a long time since I fished mn opener,yard detail most of saturday ...been fixing my walleye itch fishing the missouri near chamblain SD,plenty of action,walleye sheephead,white bass,catfish,never know what lurks/bites fishing the river.

I was surprised mn bass season was open already,fishing panfish last week near my house in hugo,bass were on nests in the shallows,easy pickens for folks meat fishing.

Hmmm,thanx for the info guyz,always thought fishing outof season game fish was illegal ,harrassing spawning fish in minn,not so these days I guess
