Lund Boats
It's being reported on Walleye Central that there was a shooting at Lund Boats in New York Mills this morning. Thankfully nobody was hurt. Gunman in custody.

Thats all I know.

I know you have to weigh each case by its own facts, but it makes you wonder why there are so many people who are angry and frustrated and think the best way to settle their grievances is with a gun hurting or killing other people.

I'll give you THE two main reasons, and our society don't like either of them.

1.  We have been desensitized to glorified gun violence in our entertainment media over the past 50 year, where the lines delineating the good guys have been increasingly blurred.  For example, you always knew where Hopalong Cassidy stood, Yellowstone's John Dutton - not so much.

2.  An increasing number of people have abandoned their faith in God, and if they still believe at all, their version of god does not require them to do anything different than what they want to do.  I'll get my own justice for myself.

Sad and scary times.

We have our very own " Projects" here, 4 or 5 apartment buildings full of mainly people from Chicago who are on HUD. A previous mayor went out of his way to encourage them to move here as it's easier to qualify for HUD here than back home.  :bonk: Now it usually takes 2 cars of LEOs to go out there for almost anything.  :sad:

I just guessed off the MO. White folks out of Mpls in the country may shoot someone if they get fired from a job, or their wife was screwing a co-worker. But not over an argument. That hood stuff!  :undecided:

Naw...  The Police didn't shoot the kid, so there is nothing in it for Al and Jesse to gain.  Doesn't fit their narrative.
