With the current conditions, the shore line will hold out through the weekend for truck traffic.   The water on the ice should go down later tonight or by tommorrow.  The Ice has not honey combed yet, but should start in the early part of next week with the rain and warm weather.

Thank you all for a great ice fishing season here on Upper Red Lake.  We had a great walleye and pike season.  The crappies never settled into a normal pattern.  They really gave me run for my money.

We are starting to take bookings for the spring.

Thanks again,

Greg

Thanks Greg for your reports throughout the season.  I will be heading up tomorrow morning and will probably go out of the North side at least for one day.  It sounds like the bite on the South end was a little spotty this year.  We had one outstanding trip this year and the other 4 trips were so-so although we always caught some crappies.  One great trip out of 5-6 exceeded my expectations so I am not complaining.  It seems like the South end usually turns on by now but maybe in the next two weeks things will change.  I also appreciate the update on ice conditions.  I hope the water goes down by tomorrow as I hate getting brake linings and other things wet.
I fish not because I regard fishing as being so terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant - and not nearly as much fun.? Robert Traver "Anatomy of a Fisherman"

I think this is the first time I have ever seen a guide/resort thanking the public for anything.  :)

Very classy Greg.

And thankyou for all of the reports that you provide.

Thank you Meadowcreek for all the updates, fishing reports and stories!  I only made it up there once this year, but hopefully can make a few more trips next year!   :)  (Trying to convince the Mrs. to come along as well!)
