Hey someone call my boss and tell him the crappies are biting around here, so he could arrange for my meetings, classes and what not to be postponed until ice off. They are just cutting into to much valuable (primetime) fishing time.

welcome GRIZ!!
hey someone is trying to get ahold of you.
contact daveo ASAP.

i will get a call in to your boss. i've seen this sort of early start up procedeures, and quite frankly i think it is over rated.
it is a condition that can only be cured with regimens of keeping your feet on ice, a cold 12 oz compress in the palm of your hand and a steady jigging like motion with the other elbow.
if that doesn't cure him, then you will have to use the old stand by, dial-a-shift. the number is 1-800-dump ;D
take a kid hunting and fishing!!

THWACK KILLS!!

I don't know what is going on around here lately. Panfish around here are usually more than willing to bite. Last few days mostly get a bunch of lookers. Been getting nice fish but few and far tween. Have been to most of my tried and true hotspots for late season pannies with little success. I think something is going to break loose soon though. I wanna be in on it when it does.

Right now the panfish are going crazy round here. I hope this rain don't bother that much. Most of the smaller lakes are producing sunnies with a good share of them producing crappies along with them. I have been getting them in 9-10 fow, others say they've been doing well from 7-15 fow. I have been using white and green jigs but I am not sure that it really matters.

In  the area I live in it don't matter. The fish are active. They are bitting on nearly every lake and presentation doesn't seem to matter. Maybe have to do a bit of hole hopping to find them right away, or play the patience game and wait and let them come to you.

Myself have went to know productive spots and had success right away. ;D Have heard both ways but haven't heard of a lake yet that isn't producing right now.

Get out there while you can still walk on water!!
