  You didn't say what time you want us there for lunch.
Are you a hunter or do you just kill things? Respect the wildlife!

My plans for this weekend include getting together with my neighbor and my cousin and having a sausage fest.
 We are making:
30 lbs Venison Ring Sausage
30 lbs German Sausage
30 lbs Polish Sausage
30 lbs potato sausage

A small group of thoughtful people could change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.

The sausage fest was a good time, but we still had our mishaps. First thing Thursday night we snapped the bolt on the front of the big grinder auger, so we had to pull out the two little grinders, then on Friday afternoon I discovered all my casings were bad. I had soaked the casing for more than 3 hours and they were still stiff as a board. Had to run around to find more casings. Picked some up at Cabela's in Rogers, they were just as bad, so I had to run around again, finally found the good casings in Delano. I also discovered the Temp Guage on the front door of my smoker is showing 20 deg less than the actual temp.
  We ended up with an extra 15 lbs of meat so I made some summer sausage with the left overs

But the suasages turned out good, everybody rated the sausages in this order;

#1 the Venison Ring Sausage
#2 The Polish sausage
#3 The Summer Sausage
#4 the Potato Sausage
#5 The German Sausage

Now for my next adventure, the weekend of the  21st, I am going to try the Venison Bacon from Curleys Sausage
