We are sponsoring a kids fishing tournament

Saturday, July 14th!
11 a.m. to 1p.m. (check in begins at 10 a.m.)
Pottery Pond in Redwing, MN

MNOutdoorsman.com and FishingForLife.org are partnering up to host a kids fishing tournament in Red Wing, MN at Pottery Pond.  The fish-a-thon will take place from 11am to 1pm.  Check in time will start at 10 a.m. All kids participating in the fish-a-thon will need to pre-register by July 1st.  Walk-up registrations will be accepted the morning of the tournament, but they will not be eligible for all the prizes.

I just wanted to get this out now so people can plan to be there.

All kids are welcome and there will be many giveaways for the kids.

I hope many of you can bring your kids out!

More information, as well as directions will be coming soon.

standard MN fishing regs apply. kids 16 and older need a license.
I havn't nailed down the age brackets yet, but there will be different groups.  I am not sure if I'll put a age limit on this either... I was thinking 16?  but not sure.

This contest will be in conjuction with fishingforlife.org, so once I get the fish-a-thon sheets from them, that will clear up some things.

I think you should make it 16 and under and if they are older than 16 if they have a disability then thats cool

sorry all, i meant to post in here...
due to a busy summer (baseball) and everything going on(4 kids activities) and some miscommunication with the guy at fishingforlife.org (he isn't following through) I am going to reschedule this for a date TBD.
Sorry all, but we will have something for the kids.  I promise.

That sounds like fun, but am unable to have my stepkids in it on that date.  Any plans for any kids tourneys in the Minneapolis area any time this summer?
