Mille Lacs 5/19

We had a friendly little tourney on Mille Lacs out of Red Door this weekend.  We usually do very well.  We brought in 5 in the slot.  Started off hot and sunny.  I am glad I brought my duck hunting clothes.  It got cold and windy after lunch.  A few got skunked and the most brought in was 9.  There were a lot of 27 1/2" caught.  We worked the mud flats.  Some picked them up in the sand.  Some said the day before they took in limits, but it was very slow for us.  We threw back three 25 inchers.
