Very very Nice!!  I liked the way you showed the slip bob setup (for anyone new to that) and the way to use an electric fillet knife.  Once someone masters the electric (and it don't take long), they'll never go back.

Send that vid to In Fisherman - they may have a job for you.

Yes, leeches in 10 feet of water over rocks. I seriously missed about 5 fish that night! Thats what you get for screwing around!! This weekend i'm going to fish. Got a trick up my sleeve for a big fish.

Leech, If ya come up we are going to that same spot I took you to on the ice. I will prove this spot to you now! I will guarantee you a fish over 24 inches! Hows that? Wish I could say bigger here but I want to be safe

Tim,

nice job and I have to say I'm envious you've already been out there sticking it to 'em! I hope to see a few video blips like that each week. All it takes is some one to take the time to turn the camera on and explain what they're doing. Additionally, it doesn't always have to be red hot action. Tough days w/o fish tell the story as well and bloopers are about as good as it gets.
I have to say, doing video on a hunt or fishing trip will force you to learn a lot. I have to say that was one of the most enjoyable pieces I've seen in a long time. In fact, I'm anxious to get going as I have the use of a pretty good boat for the next two months. This video reminds me of my (everyday below average fisherman) experiences (not some polished video w/cut aways and to the point of nearly being phony) and is going to get me off dead center and get out there. Thanks and I look forward to seening more of that.

As a newer fisherman, i would appreciate it if you or someone else with some knowledge of slip bobbers could do up a quick little video for those of us not familiar with it so we can get an understanding of how it all works together and how to set things up on your line for slip bobber fishing. I know you mentioned it at the beginning of this video, but i still don't understand what you put where and how it all goes together.

Whats you trick for slip bobbering bigger eyes?  Is it a different set up?  A different spot?  Bigger leeches?  Different hook or jig?  Did it work?

Is that a Strohs in your cup holder I saw there? ::drunks::

No it wasn't a Strohs....it was Fosters...Australian for beer


And as far a bigger eyes, 2 things have worked for me. Only one is proven and that is location! Different spots hold different fish. I have found that every spot has a bit of everything but there seems to be a majority. For instance that spot in the video would be a tourney fishermans dream because it seems that you always catch fish right around 19 inches! That would be a great fill for your slot fish. Other spots have differnet results.

Can't wait to get back up. I was supposed to be up all last weekend Fri - Mon but I got sick on Friday and then work mandated me in Saturday and Sunday......

My son and i went over to Loon Lake in Waseca for a couple hours this afternoon til the rain hit. I will be posting some pics in a little bit.

Dang.  I knew I rocognized that can.  I just couldn't place it. 

I've noticed that spots seem to make the difference too. I fish the same 3-4 spots and all of them contain cookie cutter fish.  But other guys seem to be catching some bigger fish in some different locations.  I need to experiment more.

If it makes you feel better I haven't been out at all.  Maybe this weekend.

   that was an awsome video .  Thanx for posting and sharing . I have never fished with slip bobbers and now i may have a chance. Thanx in part to your video. Also i have never used the electric knive. This to may have to change.This is what i love about this site. People such as yourself  taking the time to share your information with the rest of us. keep up the great work  and i do hope you get back out soon .
