These pics were taken about a month ago an hour and a half west of the twin cities....

So far so good, looks like 2006 may be better than 2005??

:o Wow, Great pictures. Why can't I see them like that when I have a gun in my hand?

I might be up for chasing a few birds, heck I know the dog is. What time were you planning on heading up there?

I went up to Rocky bay a couple weeks ago with setterguy and got the mother/daughter team on some birds. We had 3 chukars and 3 pheasants set out and had a few really nice double points. We ended up getting 5 pheasants and 1 chukar.

Great pics!  I also made several trips west to the SD boarder and saw several batches like the pictures.  There were more birds this year than I have seen for many years in Western Minnesota.  That is really great news and this next year could just be the boomer year for Minnesota pheasants..
