;D the wife and i had a fine weeks end fishing for the rainbow trout in a small lake north of emily. last year we had fished the same lake with little success , as a new home had been built on this lake and someone had introduced lrg. mouth bass to the water. the bass seemed to be down this year in count ? but the trout were up in numbers !  fished thursday evening and landed 4 feisty bows around 9 " and 1 small bass . friday morning we had a better set of hookups with a better 101/2 " bow ? and of corse the wife had to pull this one before me ! the friday evening fish were about the same as thursdays , and we finished up with our limit and a happy get away for the first trip free from a nest of family and wordly problems .   please enjoy our wilds of minnesota and open the eyes and hearts of a young person and show them the happyness of the great outdoors. share your time with the ones you love and teach them the ways of wilderness adventures.      woodchuck
