The catfish bite has been good up by the dam.  The walleyes and sauger are biting in the deep holes on Pepin, 18 to 25 feet, using longer stick baits and bright colors.  The smallies are on the rocks in Pepin, 10 to 18 feet deep.  The panfish action is better in the backwaters.
