It seems the only chance I get to see these guys are dead on the road. I was pretty happy when this possum crossed in front of the blind this morning carrying her young. Something I have never seen . befor

That's a great photo.
I am constantly amazed at how common opossums have become - when I was a kid you never would have seen one as far north as the cities.

That's a great picture..  Can I ask how long you sit out there waiting for those photo ops?  And what sort of photo equipment do you use? (Camera, Lens, etc.)

During the Rut I will pretty much sit all day usually getting out there well befor first light. During the Summer I usually only sit in the mornings when it is cooler and only untill the light gets to harsh to work with. The camera I shoot with most is an old Fuji S1 Pro which is a nikon body with fuji guts and a sigma 170-500 zoom which with a 1.5 conversion factor for digital makes it a 255-750 zoom. The equipment is old by todays standards but as long as it keeps working and giving me good results I will keep useing it.
