I almost had a robin hood. Well I don't know maybe I did, but either way I wrecked a bolt. Here is the picture.

I was just shooting my crossbow for fun at my target which consists of a dozen pieces of carpet hanging from a frame. I shot one into the target and when I shot the second it just stopped and twirrled to the ground. The first bolt had no damage to the back end but as the pic shows the front of the second hit something hard, harder than carpet anyhow. There was nothing else for it to hit that was hard, I just didn't realize that the back of a bolt was that much stronger than that of a regular arrow.

Hey good shootin Griz!! Thats a Robin Hood in my book.   happy2.gif  Too bad they didn't get stuck together so you'd have a little trophy.  At Bwanas they have about 1/2 dozen Robin Hoods layin in a deers rack.

Well I know you don't want too many as it gets expensive but when you can drive nails, you KNOW you're shootin good.
