Pheasant report 10-20-07

[Spinach]

Here are a bunch of pictures of last weekends Pheasant hunt in SW Minnesota. Leech Angler, Dave, Dan, Me and my dog Macey drove down early Saturday morning and met up with Kevin and his 2 sons. Unfortunately all of the corn was still up and the fields were still soaked, Saturday was nearly 80 degrees and Sunday was nice and cool but there were 40+ mph winds all day. We still had decent luck and came home with a bunch of birds.

Now I see why Justin was the only who could drop a bird dead Sun. morning.   Macy did a great job running that last rooster down.  Wish we had got more birds but that's the way it goes sometimes.  Thanks for bringing Mator down.

Hope you can make it.  Hopefully I'll have the dog going by then.  Took him out for a little bit this afternoon.  Didn't get anything.  The wind was worse than Sun.

Wish you guys could have came this weekend.  7 of us limited in just over an hour behind my house.  They stripped the corn yesterday then pulled the combine out.  The birds were packed in the corn strips.  We would push to the ends and get 20-30 birds at a time up.  It was hard picking the roosters out with all the hens getting up.

Hey, just a friendly tip from somebody passing through.  Your camera seems to be set on florescent or incandescent lighting.

Without getting too exact, what part of SW MN were you at?  Im from SW part and could have sworn I saw your suburban driving around but not forsure.

I know, i was so pissed after i downloaded the pictures. My daughter had the camera settings all messed up.

I know next time to double check the settings, thanks for noticing.
