Hi to all, I am new on this site and it looks pretty neat.

I have a question to get started with. My brother is looking for a place in MN or Eastern SD Northern IA that sells exotic pheasants. Can anyone help me with any info. I would gretly appreciate it.

Thanks
Mike

Pikeslayer is a buddy of mine who just signed up to this site also.  You could PM him.  He buys and sells exotic pheasants and geese.  He lives in the Mankato area.  Otherwise you can PM me with your number and I will give it to him.

I know for sure pheasants were brought over from China.  I just have never heard of "exotics" for either geese or pheasants.

Lots of exotic pheasants...

we know the Ringneck pheasant, but  then there's the:

Golden Pheasant (beautiful)
Melanistic Pheasant
Reeves
Lady Amhearst
Silver
and Crested Firebacks (stunning)

Look 'em up!  You'll like what you see!

Good Luck!

My neighbors grandfather was the one who introduced pheasants to this area from China, I forget the whole story, but 7-8 years ago we were out hunting and he told me the entire process, they brought a few birds over at a time and released them.
