Ice Fishing Update

[Barnacles Resort]

Few people out fishing this weekend (12-8-07). Ice is at 6" a couple hundred yards out. Wheelers can get around. One fisherman came back with 1 walleye & 12 perch in about 18ft of water. Will start staging ice houses this week on the shoreline. Another fisherman reported no fish but had bites.

Aitkin county called and reported several incidents on the lake and to be careful. They would not elaborate on what the incidents were. No incidents at our place (north end of the lake).
