The Bite
Off of Jr's Access follow the road out to 7-10 feet of water.  The mrning bite is from 7:30 to 9:00 while the evening bite is 4:00 to 6:00. Thie bite continues day and nite in the usual waves.  The bite has been moderate to good. Walleye are most pelentiful followed by pike.  So far the Crappie bite has been nonexsistant.  The crappie bite is very typical for this time of year.  They should begin to show up in 12-14 feet of water as soon as the lake see some more pressure.

The Ice
We have a very different ice situation from last year.  Areas with little or no snow have up to 14 inches.  Areas with heavy snow cover have as little as 8 inches.  Most folks will be fine in a small truck or car if they stay on the marked road.  Most houses were pulled off of the access on Thursday morning to prevent drifting in the prime walleye area.  The goal of pulling the houses was to maintan a good sheet of Ice.
