Many of us have a lot of questions about our electronics functions that we don't understand.

Being great fisherman that are supposed to know it all we sometimes hesitate to ask others for assistance.

i was watching a show the other day over lunch, i can't remember specifically which show it was, but anyways they were fishing with a side looking sonar and i could not believe the clarity and detail that it was showing on the screen. Instead of a mass of color which they would have intially considered to be a school of bait fish, they could determine from the side looking sonar that it was actually a downed tree top in the water. Great detail in the imagining.

Anyone using one of these currently?
