I've done very well on this lake during open water so I know there are some decent fish in this lake, but it can be a tough lake to fish during harwater. The guys that know the lake well don't give up a lot of info. There are the usual locations like mentioned above. VFW, Belaire Beach, Mahtomedia Beach, and Ramsey Beach. There is some decent structure with in walking distance from all these locations. Sometimes the crowd is the place to be, but I'd get a good map of the lake and start venturing off away from the crowds.
Here's to a long life and a merry one.
A quick death and an easy one.
A pretty girl and an honest one.
A cold pint-- and another one!

I agree Joe,

I have one or two spots that are real honey holes but are not big enough to share with the amount of pressure WBL gets. I found both by veering away from the crowds and experimenting.. They have produced well
But when they are not I will join a town out there !!
