Heading out

Joe and I are heading to the Croix, we'll be fishing the Hudson area on the Mn side.

Will have a full report tonight, hopefully with a few pictures.

I'm jealous. Hopefully you guys do better than you did last night!

Nothing to be jealous about today, we actually did worse today than yesterday. At least yesterday we caught a lot of fish, just nothing worth keeping. Today was very bad for catching anything, Joe did catch a smallie and I caought a tiny perch, we both had a few bites, but nothing to show for them.

It was very nice to get out though, the weather was perfect , the wind was down and it wasn't too hot, I still had a great time chatting with Joe as we trolled around the river.

Hopefully next time is better for the catching fish part.

It sure was a nice afternoon to be out. I got a hot tip this morning for some smallie action right in that area. We'll have to try it next time. Bring your PopRs.
